About Us
Dr. Richard A. Dean and Mr. T. E. Northup founded Leading Edge Engineering, Inc. in 1993 after both had extensive engineering and executive management experience in government and private sectors, and were directly involved in originating new programs. This involved many major design-build projects and the development of new products. They bring this varied and comprehensive experience to Leading Edge's consulting services.
In forming Leading Edge Engineering, Dean and Northup are able to provide a large number of highly qualified experienced engineers, scientists and technicians (well over 1500).
A Subsidiary named HireTech, managed by Christopher B. Lussier, was formed in 1995 in response to our client's requests to support their need for temporary in-house engineers, scientists, and technicians. These contract personnel, hired by Leading Edge Engineering, are placed within a client's facilities and are managed by their staff. When the need is satisfied, the contract employee is returned to Leading Edge for subsequent assignment to another client in need.
The extensive experience of Dr. Dean and Mr. Northup in the corporate and public sectors, along with their large variety of experienced technicians and engineers, can be brought to bear on solving your difficult technical problems or manpower staffing in a timely, cost effective manner.
